Bonnie is a native of Colorado. Since 1971, her focus has been in the field of water media. Her style of painting, whether depicting realistic or abstract subject matter, lends itself to moody, mystical interpretations of each subject she paints. Bonnie thinks that the use of watercolor as a medium offers the fullest opportunity for expression and experimentation. It is an ever challenging learning experience, which is the basis of creativity.

She spends many hours in the mountains pursuing her favorite activities, horseback riding, fishing and skiing. She takes "mental pictures" of the landscape and variations in the sky, then returns to her studio to paint her impressions of what she remembers.
